A pair of Chinese Qingbai 'Boys' bowls, Song Dynasty (960-1279), of conical form, the thinly-potted vessels decorated to the interior with three boys each playfully grasping the long sinuous stem of a leafing lush lotus meander, the petals with furled edges and freely incised with stylized wavy veins, applied overall with a translucent lustrous pale bluish-green glaze pooling to a deeper tone in the recesses, 20.9cm diameter Provenance: From the Collection of R.
