A Chinese celadon bottle vase, Southern Song - Yuan Dynasty (1127-1368), with compressed globular body raised on a ring foot, and a tall neck that rises to a lipped rim, covered overall with an even glaze of pale green tone, 12.8cm high Provenance: From the collection of the late J.B. da Silva (1918-2003) and by family descent. Bought at Christie's South Kensington for £40, 2nd February 1995, lot number not recorded.
