Measurements: 90 x 61 x 44 cm (x2). Pair of Louis XVI style chairs made entirely of carved wood. They have four straight truncated cone-shaped legs inspired by the classical column. Above them, the waist is designed in the form of a carved ribboned moulding with assembly dies decorated with rosettes at the junction with the front legs. The Louis XVI style, which flourished in France in the second half of the 18th century, was inspired by classical antiquity and was one of the most representative of Neoclassicism.
