Ca. 1550-1200 BC A well fired Holy Land terracotta jug, featuring a squatting, piriform body that rises from a rounded base. The vessel has a short neck with slightly sloping sides decorated with two protrusions, opening to a wide mouth with an everted lip. A vertical handle, attached from the rim to the middle of the body. The body decorated with raised areas of incised decoration perhaps in the form of trailing snakes.
