A PALE GREEN JADE CARVING OF A MYTHICAL BEAST17th/18th century The beast carved with its head turned sharply towards its back, with two long horns extending down its back the side of the body with finely incised ribs, its haunches carved with wings, its legs tucked beneath the large body terminating with a short tail, the stone of pale green tone with frosty-white inclusions. 7.2cm (3in) long.
