品相：品相良好
长方形墨，形制规矩，边角转折明朗，漆衣黝黑悦目，洒金灿烂，在感其古穆之后又予人看尽繁华之感，令人爱不释手。一面阴文“紫英”，下镌阳文方章“艺栗斋”，一面阳文楷书“徽歙曹素功监制”。
曹素功（1615-1689）：名圣臣，字昌言，号素功，清初安徽歙县岩寺镇人。与汪近圣、汪节菴、胡开文并称清代四大墨家，斋号艺粟斋，著有《曹氏墨林》。墨品有18种，紫玉光墨为第一，为康熙皇帝南巡时赐名。他还多为私人代制墨品。此两锭墨纹饰祥瑞，制作精细，应为特供宫廷的贡墨。
