(81.3 x 86.4 x 36.6 cm) 西藏 約十八世紀 彩繪木箱及支座 Decorated on this painted wooden chest and stand are a pair of dragons guarding a tray of gems surrounded by floral scrolls and geometric patterns that derive from both Chinese textiles and the style of Tibetan landscapes on thangkas. Among the Tibetan furniture that was made for households and monasteries,binations of storage box and stand are by far the rarest type known. Judging by their matching dimensions and decoration, they were originally made together as a set. pare with several Tibetan storage chests decorated with front-facing dragons, sold in , Knightsbridge, 2 November 2020, lots 97, 98, 100 & 107.
