A YUAN STYLE LONGQUAN CELADON 'TWIN FISH' PORCELAIN DISHChina, late Qing Dynasty (1644-1912) – Republic Period (1912-1949). The dish is potted with deep sides carved with upright lotus petals on the exterior, rising to a flat everted rim. The interior is decorated with a pair of molded fish. The dish is covered overall with an even glaze of bluish-green tone save for the foot ring which is burnt orange in the firing.Condition: Very good condition, minor wear. Provenance: Holzapfel collection, Geneva, Switzerland.
