Chinese Qing Dynasty porcelain water pot. Potted in an ovoid bulbous body, rounded shoulder gently elevated short neck toward the wide opening, establish flori form. The exterior decorated with flower blooms in the garden. All reserved hand painting Douqing design in olive-green celadon underglaze base ground color the green glaze creates a mottled effect around the rim which is likened unto the blushing of human pale white skin. The immaculate porcelain body covered with a characteristic silky glaze, amazing crackling effect throughout the underglaze which produces fantastic a smooth textured surface. There is not any overlap of the outlines, its well carved, clear, subtle, and distinct.The under-base bears a reign mark, a six underglaze blue seal script characters reign mark, Made in The Years of Daoguang Reign Period of Great Qing Dynasty.Measurements: 2-1/2" H x 2-7/8" Diam.
