Chinese Ming Wucai wine pot. Potted in a generous feminine baluster shape body, bulbous belly everted the tall cylindrical neck toward flared and banded rim. Raised on a footed base, with the curved hand elevated widely, balanced with a loop handle from the upper to lower body and a thumb piece. The belly well decorated in Wucai design of five-claws flying dragon beside phoenix, interspersed with flaming ruyi clouds, flower blooms, and scrolling ruyi. Sturdy branch with various foliage and flower blooms decorated on the neck. Scrolling ruyi decorated on the mouth lip rim. Double fine blue rings lines decorated on each section part of the body. All set in coral-red, green, and yellow colors overglazed, against white underglaze ground. The porcelain conformed all required specimen to be high valued Chinese porcelain wares, with finest material, the whiteness, the glaze, the carving, and the shape. Without overlap the outlines of the design, well carved, clear, subtle, and distinct.Mark on base, a vertical six underglaze blue script -KaiShu- characters mark, Jiajing Reign Period of The Great Ming Dynasty.
