A Chinese pale celadon bottle vase, Ming Dynasty, 15th or 16th century, the ovoid body with double incised band and the neck ribbed to simulate bamboo, with crackled greenish-grey glaze, unglazed foot showing burnt orange, 16.5cm high Provenance: Purchased by the late J.B. da Silva (1918-2003) from Christie's, South Kensington, 28th May 1998, lot 365.
