A good Chinese porcelain wucai standing figure of a boy holding a vase, Shunzhi, (1644-1661), his green edged jacket painted with various fruits including peaches, pomegranates and finger citrons, his trousers painted with stylised clouds in iron red, standing on a square pedestal base painted with circular and diamond mirrors, 29cm high, base 7.5cm x 6.5cm. Provenance: Formerly in an Italian aristocratic collection. Another example of this rare group, a gift of Leo and Doris Hodroff, is illustrated by William R.
