Fascinating view of a small French country house in the middle of a violently moving landscape. In the foreground a small blue stream meanders through the bright green meadow. Above the cottage a hill on which some dark green trees stand, as well as numerous pink-coloured trees and bushes in a confusing variety, which continue below the cottage to the river course. Like a waterfall, the light green and pink colours meander from the top of the hill down the hill to the house and continue into the S-shaped small stream. In the background the turquoise sky with small white cloud formations. Fascinating post-impressionistic rendering of this French landscape in numerous differentiated green and pink shades, in a rapid manner with partly pastose application of paint. (1220881) (18)
