View over a wide sandy beach with four playing children in the foreground. Two boys in short trousers are just letting two homemade boats with red flag and sails on the shallow water. A little girl standing in the water holds her skirt up carefully and looks down attentively on the boat. Another standing boy on the left is watching the action. In the background more figures on the beach and on the left the undulating sea with some sailboats and white seagulls flying over the beach in the light blue sky.
