On a rectangular plinth the standing figure of a deer, impressive in its restrained forms. On 26 September 1929, the Valsuani Archives twice mention a reduction of a deer (cerf réduction 53.3 cm). Although a reduction with these dimensions was unknown for a long time, reductions based on the 260 cm high model were known, which were cast by Andro from 1930 onwards. In her expert opinion Colas emphasizes the beauty of the casting and the perfect preservation of the patina of this unique work, which was created during the artist's lifetime. The plaster model for the bronze at hand was subsequently destroyed.

This unique and sole casted during the lifetime of the artist copy with those dimensions has been unkown for a long time.
