In a Pompeian interior with colourful wall paintings and a mosaic floor, in addition a large statue on a marble pedestal, two ladies in antique garb standing at a white table with winged lions. The young woman in red-blue dress is holding up a box from which the lady opposite has taken a string of pearls, which she holds slightly upwards and carefully examines. Painting in fresh colours with many fine details, depicting life in ancient Pompeii. (1221083) (2) (18)
