In the glaring light of the sun a large rowing boat, manned by three men, and a large hoisted white sail casting shadows on the men. To the right and left of the Nile the sandy bank with palm trees, on the right side with two larger moored boats, on the left side in the background the silhouette of Cairo. Another sailing boat is also drifting on the calmly flowing river. Atmospheric painting, conveying the heat of the sunny day, in delicate soft colours. (1222313) (18)
