Werner Peiner, 1897 Düsseldorf – 1984 Leichlingen Der Maler studierte ab 1919 an der Düsseldorfer Akademie. 1933 wurde er an die Düsseldorfer Kunstakademie als Professor für Monumentalmalerei berufen.

In the middle sitting on a wagon the bearded man, called Uranus, with red canopy and rich gold decoration. Around him numerous figures like a winged horse, a king's daughter riding on a unicorn and a woman with two large billy goats. These personifications are marked with silence, eternity, time, myth and legend. Below in the middle with golden frame the name Uranus.
