Pre-Columbian, Venezuela, Trujillo culture, ca. 1000 to 1500 CE. A hand-built pottery olla of a broad and tall form with a slightly concave foot, a bulbous, tiered body with a corseted neckline, and a flared rim. The exterior of the cream-hued vessel is decorated with orange, red, and black rings that create a concentric effect around the circumference.
