AN ARCHAISTIC PALE YELLOW JADE PENDANT, HUANG, QINGChina, Qing dynasty (1644-1912) or slightly later. Skillfully crafted in the style of the Eastern Zhou Dynasty, all executed in manual carving and chiseling with no modern tool marks. The arc-shaped huang is carved on both sides with a stylized motif of archaistic scroll. One small hole is drilled for suspension to the top. The semi-translucent stone of a pale-yellow tone with russet patches, white speckles and surface alterations.Condition: Very good condition with minor wear. Provenance: Estate of Wolfgang Zacke (1942-2022), co-founder of Galerie Zacke, thence by descent. Acquired in the Hong Kong antiques market in the early 1990s.Weight: 11 g Dimensions: Length 7.5 cm
